Hygge (heu-gah) is a Danish term that roughly translate as “cozy.” It’s a feeling of warmth and graciousness. A feeling that Danes pursue quite avidly through rituals and gestures.

We had the name but we had no idea what it looked like. Fortunately, we had the good sense not to try to illustrate the word but rather it’s origins. So we went Danish-modern and took our inspiration from the textiles, sculptures, prints and furnishings of mid-20th century Denmark. Skål!
