Some years ago I did a turn doing pro bono for the local Boys & Girls Club. Their top fundraiser of the year is known as the Sweetheart Auction and one year the theme was James Bond 007. Not exactly a novel idea but we went the extra mile to make it cool.
We left the movie-poster approach on the cutting room floor and handled it more like a recruitment campaign for Bond Girls, Bad Guys and Wannabe 007s. One ad offered wardrobe advice for the ladies; another showed men how to accessorize. There was even a test to see how you stack up against James himself.
